slackness on my part

Well I'm obviously not feeling particularly motivates to keep this up lately. There’s just not a whole lot going on that would be of interest to anyone outside the camp really. Let’s see if I can sum it up:
• It’s hot
• It’s really hot
• It’s dusty (Small dust storm going on at the minute due to high winds)
• I scrubbed the banana out from under the door handles (part of a prank pulled on Chris)
• Sean got me two fire hoses and nozzles so we actually have some fire fighting capability now- A big thanks to the New Hope Volunteer Fire Department
• I reorganized the clinic a little since Chris is gone (promoted remember)
• The food has gone downhill since Warren left (new job)- not as bad as some of the places I’ve eaten but not like it was either
• My oxygen tanks are refilled
• I already finished off the cans of nuts that I shipped over (I share them so don’t think I’m a complete pig)
• Its hot (yes, I know that’s redundant but it is- about 125F right now)

So that about sums it up. As for medical, the usual- sinus problems, headaches, vaccination updates, etc.

I’m just trying to keep in mind that I get to go vehicle shopping when I get back. I hate to admit it, but I may buy a car with gas prices being what they are.

I’d really like a big Starbuck’s Mocha Frappachino and chocolate chocolate chip muffin… Anybody want to pay me to come back early?

125F is what in celsius? the other day on the radio the guy was saying "tonight is gonna be a really cool day," i got excited and then he went on to say "with temperatures not going beyond 38 degrees celsius."
it was a real dissapointment, was expecting somewhere in the 20's,

but anyways another nice thing that i heard, (actually its not so nice) that when temps reach over 45 they dont say it on the weather forecasts cos that'd mean outdoor workers would have to take the day off so the forecasts would be stuck at 45 for a few days even tho its probly in the 50's...nice to know that getting the work done, and saving money is more important than sun stroke...they can always replace the workers right?

125 is about 51.6 celsius. Yeah, it was hot. Sometimes you have to wonder about the logic in this world.

oh and one more thing, i think its not so bad when the temps so high as long as there isnt too much humidity in the air, humidity and heat make a bad combination.

Uhm, at least you didn't ship frozen fish. LOL
I love my mom, but every now and then I think she forgets how hot it gets and that it takes two weeks for packages to get here- she shipped me some cashews (mmmm, love cashews) along with a gooey lump of yougart and pretzels (formerly yougart covered pretzels (which I normally like too). It's all good though- I threw them in the fridge and they were alright. The worst I've seen was a friend's wife shipped a bag of Reece's peanut butter cups- what a mess, luckily they were still in the bag, but you could have poured them out.
