I really would love to see India and Pakistan. I would love to follow in Robert Fulton's tracks and ride a motorcycle all the way through and into China.
We have many Indians working here (along with Pakistanis, Nepalese, Sri Lankan, Filipino, etc) and all that I have met have been wonderful folks with most working hard to support extended families at home. I suppose that's one of the reasons I get so mad when the whackjobs here kill more innocent folks- almost all are just trying to earn enough to provide for their families. Most could care less about the politics of the situation. It's very sad.
Ah yes. I would always recommend anyone to visit India. It is pretty beautiful I must say. I have never been to Pakistan myself, but would wish to someday (and come back 'alive' and breathing).
I was wondering that myself. I know India and Pakistan don't agree on the Kashmir Pass region and they keep armies there, occasionally lobbing shells at each other. I also know that some of the Taliban is currently in Pakistan, but they seem to be relatively stable overall.
Well.. basically yea Pakistan and India are not in good terms (although not all pakis are very political minded). And from what I have heard from people and read in the news, some people there walk around with guns all the time. And if they find you suspicious, they shoot. And thats the end of you.
